ASM EQT
ASM EQT sub-types are processed by the system to change or update the aircraft type, for commercial, operational, or technical reasons.
Upon processing of the ASM EQT, the capacity values of the new aircraft type are automatically populated, and the flight of the amended dates are updated. The updated record can also be viewed in the Availability tab of screen.
The following scenario illustrates this functionality.
Flight XS 5128 with a daily flight operation and with Aircraft Type
321 (Airbus A-321).
An ASM EQT is received to change Aircraft Type 321 to
757 for 01NOV flight date.
Flight Date 01NOV15 is updated with new Aircraft Type
757. The updated flight record can be viewed in the
Flights tab of screen.
No change is made to the flight schedule.
If an ASM EQT is received for a flight that does not currently exist in the system, the ASM will not be processed.
