Flight Deletion

It is not recommended to delete a flight belonging to a schedule. If a created flight will no longer operate, then it should be set to Canceled status.

A flight record that does not belong to a schedule can also be set to Canceled status if it is no longer operating. However, in case you prefer to remove such a flight from the system, then you can opt to delete it instead.

When a flight record is retrieved in the Flights tab of Master Data > Flight Schedule screen or Flight Export tab of Main > Booking screen, click the Delete (Del) button to delete the flight.

Deleted flights will no longer be visible in Cargospot whereas canceled flights can still be viewed and all associated messages for the flight will still be on the message queue. A canceled flight can also be re-instated by removing the X-Cancel indicator whereas a deleted flight cannot be recovered – it would need to be created again.
