Setting Alert Notifications

You can set up an alert notification to send an email message whenever there are changes made to the flight or the schedule. The Alerts tab can be configured to send notification messages whenever certain changes are made to the flight record.

You can set up the system to send notifications messages based on the type of alert, the alert level, or whenever the changes are made manually.

  1. Navigate to the Flight Schedule screen. You can do this by clicking Master Data > Flight Schedule.
  2. In the Alerts tab, select the appropriate Alert Type:
    • Date/Time Change - An alert notification will be sent whenever there are changes made to the date and time.
    • Equipment Change - An alert notification will be sent whenever there are changes made to the equipment.
    • Flight Cancelled - An alert notification will be sent whenever a flight is cancelled.
    • New Flight - An alert notification will be sent whenever a flight is created.
    • Replace Flight - An alert notification will be sent whenever a flight is replaced.
  3. Select the appropriate Alert Level:
    • Flight - An alert notification will be sent whenever there are changes made at the flight level.
    • Schedule - An alert notification will be sent whenever there are changes made at the schedule level.
  4. Enter the email address of the notification recipient on the Email field.
  5. Optional: Select the Send on Manual check box if you want to send alert notifications only for manual changes.
  6. Click OK.
A new alert notification set up has been created. The recipient will receive an email notification message whenever the specified changes occur in the system.
