About Flight Schedule: Flights Tab

Individual flights from the created master record in the Flight Schedule screen can be viewed and modified in the Flights tab. You can query all individual flights in the system from the Flights tab. All existing flights can be viewed by selecting the corresponding flight in the Record List.

All flights in the system can be viewed in the Flights tab. This includes flights built from the Flight Schedule tab, as well as flights added to the system using messages or file upload.

If there is no active flight schedule selected in the Flight Schedule tab, then a query in the Flights tab displays all the individual flight records found in the system. When a particular operating period or schedule is active in the Flight Schedule tab, all individual flight records built from that schedule are displayed in the Record List upon navigation to the Flights tab.

While you can make changes to individual flights without affecting the Flight Schedule, you cannot amend the following fields:
  • Flight Date
  • Carrier
  • Flight Number
  • Destination
The following action buttons are available in the Flights tab:
  • Show Messages - Displays all the messages received for the flight. For each message, it is possible to reply, forward, resend, print, or remove the message from queue.
  • Send Messages - Provides the option to send different types of messages from a menu set.
  • Remarks - Free text remark for information only.
  • Flight Time - The real time flight information for scheduled, estimated, and actual movements. Scheduled times are copied from the flight grid. Estimated and actual movement times would be known when the flight is operationally live. These times can be updated manually or by Aircraft Movement (MVT) message if these are received in Cargospot.
