Allotments Release

Allotments are typically released certain hours before the departure of the particular flight depending on the program.ini configuration. It is possible to specify the release hours of created allotments as well as configure allotments that do not get automatically released. Allotments can also be manually released.

The release of particular allotments can be configured in the Master Data > Allotments screen either in bulk on the Templates tab or per flight on the Allotments tab.

You can configure the automatic release of allotments during creation or update of the allotment by entering the number of hours in the Release Hours field. This value is in hours before the flight departs. When left blank, the allotment is released six (6) hours by default before flight departure. This is configured in the [carr] allotmentRelease setting in the system.

Selecting Do not Auto-Release during the creation or modification of the allotment prevents the allotments from getting released before the flight departs. These allotments need to be manually released.
