Booking on Allotment

For agents or stations that have allotments on particular flights, the booking for their shipments need to be allocated to the specific allotment record.

During booking, there are several ways of allocating the particular booking to an allotment.

The booking can be allocated to an allotment using the Availability Summary section beside the Flight Leg table. The Availability Summary is present in the Booking tab, the Current Booking tab, and the Availability tab.

To book a space allocation against an allotment during booking in the Booking tab or Current tab, you need to manually enter CA in the Alloc column of the flight leg table while entering the flight details. Upon tabbing out of the Alloc field, the Allotment column is automatically populated with the corresponding allotment code. Alternatively, you can enter the allotment code manually in the Allotment field.

It is also possible to automatically populate the flight leg row in the Flight Leg table when booking from availability in the Availability tab. To do this, you need to highlight the applicable allotment in the Availability Summary section after you select the desired flight on the Flight Leg table. The flight leg row is automatically populated with the flight and allotment details upon navigating to the Booking tab or Current tab using the Booking () or Current Booking ().
