How Pricing Priority Works
The pricing functionality allows for flexibility in the creation of sell price records by assigning a priority to each individual price record. This priority value is used to determine which price record is applied to a particular air waybill (AWB).
Each price record is assigned a priority depending on the fields that it has. This is so that
in certain cases where there might be several prices matching, the system matches the AWB with
the price record with the highest priority.
- 1 - Premium
- 2 - Transit Airport
- 2 - Transit Airline
- 8 - Routing is filled
- 32 - Flight Group
- 64 - Price Group
- 128 - Agent Code
- 256 - ULD type which is not "L3" or "8"
- 512 - Price Class
- 512 - Allotment Code
Note: If several price records share the highest priority value, the system matches the
cheapest price record.
