SSM EQT
SSM EQT sub-types are processed by the system to change or update the aircraft type or aircraft type details. Aircraft type changes can be applied to one or more dates of an existing schedule period. Upon processing of the SSM EQT sub-type, the capacity values of the new aircraft type are automatically populated, and the schedule of the amended dates are updated.
The following scenarios illustrate this functionality.
- First scenario: an SSM EQT is received to change the aircraft type of
Flight XS5751 to Aircraft Type 767. This change
needs be to applied for 02OCT15 and 03OCT15, for
two consecutive days (56) only.
The change or update resulted in three schedule periods. One for the amended date range, and two more schedule periods for the other date ranges. An overview of all schedules of the same flight number, XS5751, can be obtained by selecting then right-clicking the record from the Record List pane.
Select Overview (F4) from the list to view the schedule overview of the amended dates.
Flight XS5751 is updated to Aircraft Type 767.
- Second scenario: an SSM EQT is received to change the aircraft type
of Flight XS5751 to Aircraft Type 320. This
change needs be to applied for 05OCT15 and
19OCT15, for every Monday (1) only.
The new schedule period is created for the dates specified in the SSM EQT.
-
Third scenario: an SSM EQT is received to change the aircraft type of Flight XS5751 to Aircraft Type 319. This change needs to be applied to two separate date ranges:
- 07OCT15 and 14OCT15
- 16OCT15 and 17OCT15
New schedule periods are created according to each SSM update.
