Agent AWB Stock Management
Allocation and maintenance of AWB stock for use by specific Agents or booking entities are performed on the Agents Stock tab of the AWB Stock screen.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Station | This field is automatically populated in Add or Query mode with the Station of the User. |
Prefix | The issuing carrier's three-digit IATA airline code. On entering the prefix, the Available Stock list is populated with AWB ranges that contain available AWBs. The AWBs entered must be from within the AWB ranges listed. |
From Serial | The first AWB serial number of the AWB stock range. |
To Serial | This field is auto-populated if either a range has been selected from the available stock list, or From Serial and No. of AWBs have been input which results in a To Serial within a range that exists within the available stock. |
Query Serial | Use the Query Serial field to search for existing serial numbers in the database. The Query Serial field requires a value entered in the Prefix field. |
No. of AWBs | The number of AWBs created must lie within one of the ranges from the Available Stock list, but is not required to use the complete range. |
Issue Date | Enter the issue date of the new stock record. If left empty, the system enters the current date. |
Computer Generated | Use this check box to toggle the display of either neutral AWB stock ranges (check box is selected) or Airline AWB stock ranges (check box is cleared) in the Available Stock list. |
AWB Stock Type | The AWB stock type entered must be the same as the already defined for the available stock range AWB type. If a booking is associated with an AWB number from a Postal AWB stock, the type is automatically set to "Postal". |
Used | When an AWB range is displayed in the HDQ Stock screen, this field displays the number of used AWBs within that range. |
Unused | When an AWB range is displayed in the HDQ Stock screen, this field displays the number of unused AWBs within that range. |
Used by Agent | The system-generated number of AWBs in the stock range that are used by a particular agent. |
Black AWB | When an AWB range is displayed in the HDQ Stock screen, this field displays the number of AWBs within that range that have been blacklisted. |
Min.Records | A number can be entered into this field. When the remaining stock reaches the
number indicated, an email is sent to the Stock Alert email address set up, indicating
that the minimum stock level has been reached. The Stock Alert process runs nightly. For an email to be sent, there must be a value in Min. Records and an email address in the station record. |
Agent | Enter the IATA code of the cargo agent. You can also retrieve available agent codes from the database. |
Terminated | When selected, the stock record will not be used or reused. Any unused AWBs contained in the range are no longer available for use when the record has been terminated. |
Agent HDQ | When selected, the AWB stock is applicable to all the branches of the agent.
The agent code is valid for any of the agent branches. The system checks if the MIS code for the agent is the same to determine the branch. |
