Creating a Part Shipment Booking

You can create a part shipment booking for specific shipments. Part shipment bookings are created and updated in the Current Booking tab of the Booking screen.

  1. Navigate to the Booking screen. You can do this by clicking Main > Booking or by clicking the Booking shortcut button.
  2. Click the Current Booking tab.
  3. In the Current Booking tab, query or create a new part shipment booking record.
    • Click Query (F7) or press F7.
    • Click Add (Ins) or press Insert.
  4. Enter the booking details.
    • If you know the particular AWB to use, you can enter the AWB number in the AWB fields. Upon tabbing out of the AWB fields, the Issue (Issuing Carrier), Origin, Agent, and Currency fields are automatically populated depending on the AWB entered.
    • If you do not have a particular AWB, you can enter the forwarder in the Agent field. Navigate to the second AWB field then press Shift+= to automatically populate the AWB number according to the forwarder's next available stock.
  5. In the Flight Leg table, enter or update the Pieces, Weight, and Volume of the shipment for the flight leg.
  6. Click OK.
    If you leave out mandatory fields, Cargospot displays the missing fields in red at the bottom part of the screen.
The part shipment booking record is created.
