Advanced users can configure default values for fields that are usually static in
their business process. For example, in the Booking screen, you can set
a default value for the AWB prefix or the REF
so that those fields are automatically populated with the default value when creating a new
booking.
Default values can be set by administrators or by users with specific access
rights.

Navigate to the screen where you want to define default values for fields. For
example, .

To set the default value for creating new records, click Add
(Ins) or press Insert.

Enter the desired value in the field where you want to set the default value.
For example, enter
12345 in
REF.

With the cursor still on the active field, press CTRL +
D or click .
The field is highlighted in purple. This indicates that the default
value has been set.
The default value is set. Whenever you create a new record on the screen where you
set the default field, that field is automatically populated with the default value. The
default values are only applicable to the user who set the default value on the field
and is only active for that particular session. Users with the appropriate duty codes
can set the default values as permanent by clicking .
In some instances, you may need to remove the designated default value on the
field. To do so, navigate the cursor to the active field while in Add mode, then press
CTRL + Shift + D or click .
